Birth.

My rate is $3,500, at this time.

Hiring a doula to support your birth in Los Angeles costs between $2,500 - $7,000. The rate varies mainly due to the individual doula’s availability, specialized offerings and expertise.

My fee includes two visits to prepare for birth, on call access to me for any questions or advice as they come up, continuous hands on support during your laboring and one visit postpartum in addition to offering any assistance and resources as needed while you adjust to motherhood but also to wrap up our journey together.

The best way to take advantage of doula support is to hire your doula as early in your pregnancy as possible. The rate is always the same regardless of when you hire your doula in your pregnancy. However, if you hire your doula earlier in your pregnancy, you have the full attention and support of your doula for a longer period of time.

Postpartum.

My rate is $80 per hour for postpartum care.

The rate for postpartum support is billed hourly. In the Los Angeles area postpartum support can vary between $35 and $60 per hour.

At this time, I do not offer overnight postpartum support and I only offer postpartum services as an add on for my birth clients. I do not offer postpartum care as a stand alone service.

Postpartum services include newborn care with sleep and feeding, taking care of the mothers recovery, breastfeeding support, household tasks, light housekeeping, cooking/meal planning and whatever else is needed. It is completely customizable to your needs and situation. I am there for you as you need it.
